[Nov. 2009] The election for APCUG Region 2 Advisor will be held the first week in December 2009. The 2-year term begins January 1, 2010. The deadline for getting on the ballot is October 29, 2009. If interested, contact Jay Ferron.

Volunteer Help Needed—especially engineers, programmers, and other techies.

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), DC

Saturday, November 21, 2009
Time: 8 am to 4 pm

Setup, 8 am
Practice, build, and explore the field, 10 am
Scrimmages (if we have enough running robots!), 1 pm

Archbishop Carroll High School
Carroll Cafe
4300 Harewood Road, NE
Washington, DC
Drive straight back behind the school and enter from the parking lot.

We are preparing for the FTC Maryland State competition (Dec. 5, 2009, at Southern Maryland College).

Other teams are welcome as are visitors interested in youth robotics, too!
