[Thurs., Feb. 4, 2006] This month CPCUG phases in @CPCUG.ORG e-mail addresses and accounts for all CPCUG members. By keeping their memberships current, CPCUGers can benefit from having and using a permanent @CPCUG.ORG account to anchor their e-mail management process. Phase 1 of implementation began January 23 when snail mail letters describing the new accounts went to all CPCUG.ORG subscribers (CPCUG members who had purchased CPCUG.ORG Internet services separately from Millkern Communications, Inc.). On Wednesday, February 1, these new e-mail accounts went live. Phase 2 begins in a week or 10 days when similar letters will be snail mailed to CPCUG members who were not CPCUG.ORG subscribers on January 31, 2006. . . . more

CPCUG.ORG Moves to New Host

[Wed., Feb. 2, 2006] CPCUG moved its Web site to a new host, AlphaOne Technology. While the new DNS information propagates throughout the Internet, CPCUG volunteers are updating site content and repairing broken links. We expect links to be working properly by Saturday, February 4. If you find a broken link after that time, please contact the webmaster.

Montgomery County Grants CPCUG Project Reboot
Extended Life at Its Rockville HQ

[Tues., Jan. 31, 2006] Project Reboot, CPCUG's computer recycling program, continues with a roof over its head. Montgomery Country granted this valuable community resource an extension of its current occupancy on Fleet Street in Rockville until at least September 30, 2006.. . . more
